I worked for Jimmy Green for many years and saw Hank on a very regular basis. He was diagnosed with dementia several years ago, he fought it with exercise but it was a slow, painful journey. He also had Parkinson's. He was always kind and friendly and we shared some good memories.

I'm so sorry to hear that.  Those are two diseases that rob the person and the family of so much. I'm glad to hear he fought it.  That is a valiant fight!  God bless him and all of his family and friends.

Very sad news. Hank was very sweet & kind.
It's so hard to hear each time one of our dear classmates passes from this life.
We are all getting to that age, but as long as we have breath, we have purpose. God's not done with us yet!

Hank was a good friend throughout high school and after.  We weren't running buddies but he was always involved, good to know and be with.  At some of the earlier class reunions he always had some great stories about his life and career after high school.  I'm certain it was difficult losing his younger brother at such an early age and then to come down with such a dibilitating disease.  Rest in peace my friend.  You are not forgotten.

Like so many of you I got to know Hank when I came to Mac as a Junior. Like James mentioned I wasn't one of his running  buddies, but I always enjoyed our conversations. I consider it a shame on my part for not keeping up with more of my classmates after high school. It is so heart rendering when I realize we have lost another classmate. Thanks to all of you for contributing information about Hank after high school. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. God Bless all of them.

Hank always had a smile, was positive and reflected a gentle spirit. Those that knew him well are blessed.
